A ZULLO frame is built from Columbus steel, mitred by hand, TIG-welded in the atelier. Steel is not a decision we revisit each season. It is the material.

Steel rewards the maker and the rider. The tubes a ZULLO is drawn from — Columbus Spirit, SL, XCR stainless, depending on the frame — have been developed over sixty years in Milan to carry riders at the limit without going quiet underneath them.

A hand-mitred steel frame does something that no monocoque will do: it transmits the road without translating it. Every input returned with clarity, every effort met at the pedal. The frame is firm where it should be firm, patient where it should be patient. It does not seek to impress — it seeks to endure.

Steel is real. We prefer it anyway.
