Made by hand.
Ridden by heart.

Fifty years of frames drawn to the rider. One hundred bicycles a year. Every one leaves Castelnuovo del Garda with the atelier's name on it.

The Atelier

Since 1973, Tiziano Zullo and the workbench at Castelnuovo del Garda have built bicycles the old way: one frame at a time, one rider at a time, one hundred a year. Steel, brazed by hand, drawn to the geometry of the person who will ride it.

There are faster ways to build a bicycle. There are cheaper ways. There are ways that would let us make five hundred a year instead of a hundred. We have never taken any of them. The frame that arrives at your door is the frame Tiziano drew for you — not one from a rack.

Il viaggio

The road is a private conversation.

Between the atelier and the road, there is nothing. No dealer, no distributor, no middleman between the person who built your frame and the person who rides it. It is the shortest line in the sport — and it is what makes a ZULLO feel the way it feels underneath you.

This is the beginning of a season on Panta Rei. Verde Salvia. First light. The Veneto hills waking up.

The Frames

Four frames. One workbench.

Every model in the workshop is drawn from a shared philosophy: steel, brazed by hand, tuned to the rider. The four names below describe how the bicycle wants to be ridden.

The Master

“A ZULLO is a ZULLO because it comes from the ZULLO atelier. Every frame that leaves Castelnuovo del Garda deserves to be remembered.”

— Tiziano Zullo

Tiziano learned to braze in the 1970s and has never done anything else. The workbench, the torch, the vice, the eye. Roberto joined a decade ago; today Roberto builds most of the frames and Tiziano signs them. Every ZULLO passes through the same two pairs of hands.

PISSEI × ZULLO

Six pieces. Two colourways. Cut and sewn in Tuscany.

La pausa

The coffee is part of the ride.

In Italy the ride is the coffee, and the coffee is the ride. Halfway up the hill, an espresso and a glass of water; the bicycles leaning against the wall outside, still warm from the pace. It is the oldest ritual in the sport and it is still ours.

Come and find us on the road. The atelier is thirty minutes from Verona, and the door is always open.

L’Officina

The private community of ZULLO owners.

Every ZULLO has an owner. Every ZULLO has a story. L’Officina is where those owners meet — the registry, the rides, the workshop questions, and word from Castelnuovo del Garda. Historic frames welcome. New commissions welcome. Six spaces, verified only.

Il paesaggio

Fifty years of the same landscape.

The bicycles that leave the workshop go everywhere in the world — to Kyoto, to Copenhagen, to San Francisco. But they are drawn here, in a valley thirty minutes from Verona, on roads Tiziano has ridden since he was a boy. The landscape is inside every frame we make.

Visit

Come and see.

The atelier is in Castelnuovo del Garda, Verona — thirty minutes from Lake Garda, an hour from Milano Malpensa. Coffee is on. Bring the bicycle.
